Keen to explore the dental world further, she took up a position as Practice Manager in a dental surgery in Godalming. Composite resin fillings (made from a mixture of plastic and glass called silicone dioxide) have been used in dentistry for over forty years.
A crown is a piece of porcelain, carefully shaped and then fitted over the existing ‘prepared’ tooth, making it strong and giving it shape.
A denture, is a removable prosthetic device, most commonly known as false teeth. It can be worn on the top or bottom of your mouth, and can be partial or full depending on the number of teeth that need to be replaced.
Today, dentures are very natural looking and fit much more comfortably and securely without the need for denture adhesives.
A root canal treatment (RCT) is required if the dental pulp (or central layer) of your tooth has become infected or inflamed
Studies show that our smile is the most noticed and remembered feature when we meet someone new. Luckily, the modern dentistry offered here at Horsley Dental means that a bright and confident smile is now an accessible and affordable luxury for everyone.
With a range of easy, comfortable and convenient treatments available don’t feel the need to hide your teeth- smile confidently and give them something to remember!
Tooth whitening is a quick and safe way to refresh and transform your smile- resulting in a healthy and more youthful appearance.
Here at Horsley Dental we can offer you inlays instead of fillings. Fillings are soft and are moulded by the dentist to shape in the mouth.
A veneer is generally a very thin layer of porcelain glued to the front of a tooth, similar to a false fingernail.
Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth and involves a post being placed into the jaw to act like the root of a natural tooth.
It’s natural that as we get older we develop lines, wrinkles and creases all over our body, but the effects are most visible on those areas which are exposed – particularly the face and neck.
For some of us, these wrinkles and lines are accepted as a sign of age and living a full life. But, for many others, these lines and creases can appear before we are ready for them!
Here at Horsley Dental we offer a full range of facial rejuvenation treatments to reduce the number of frown lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet etc.
